7-Eleven Day Brings Eleven Days of Special Offers Across Japan

Ahead of 7-Eleven Day, Seven-Eleven Japan has launched an 11 day promotion starting July 1. Featuring exclusive offers, special products, and prize giveaways, this initiative is a way of expressing gratitude to patrons across Japan.

Eleven Days of Appreciation

Ahead of 7-Eleven Day, Seven-Eleven Japan held a media event on June 24, 2026 to unveil a nationwide campaign. Announced by President and Representative Director Tomohiro Akutsu, the initiative runs from July 1 through July 11 as a way to thank customers for their continued support.

Just over a year into his tenure, Akutsu has positioned July as a month of new initiatives. Rather than focusing on a single commemorative day, the company is offering a variety of campaigns designed to give visitors more reasons to visit 7-Eleven and discover something new with each trip.

Akutsu also shared that he plans to work in a store himself on July 11 alongside franchise owners and store employees, adding that he has encouraged fellow executives to do the same. He said his goal is to make every visit to 7-Eleven enjoyable for everyone while creating stores that franchise owners and employees can take pride in.

What to Expect During 7-Eleven Day

One of the featured offers is a receipt coupon available from July 1 through July 5, allowing guests to purchase a second eligible Seven Cafe coffee at 50 percent off on the same day. Akutsu described Seven Cafe as one of the company's signature products, adding that he drinks several cups himself every day.

Beginning July 7, those who purchase two rice balls together with a drink will receive a coupon for a free drink. Another discount offers two eligible items from Seven Premium Gold the company's premium private brand for a special price of 711 yen including tax.

Yuki Amami Shares Her Support

The second half of the event welcomed actress Yuki Amami, who joined Akutsu on stage to discuss the television commercial series and some of her favorite 7-Eleven products.

In the commercials, Amami takes on two contrasting roles: a neighborhood 7-Eleven franchise owner and a playful deity from another world. She shared that the store owner is portrayed with the dedication of franchise owners and company employees in mind, while the deity is designed to be more lighthearted and mischievous.

A longtime 7-Eleven customer, Amami also introduced the hand towels and socks that will be available in stores from July 11, commenting that the signature three stripe design would look great with jeans.

Among her favorite products, she singled out the Seven Premium Gold Hamburg Steak, describing it as a staple in her refrigerator for evenings when she wants a satisfying meal without the effort of cooking.

"For ONEs": The Future of 7-Eleven

Under President Akutsu's leadership, Seven-Eleven Japan is shifting from a For All approach to For ONEs, a concept that reflects a changing society. Rather than focusing solely on the needs of the broadest possible audience, the company aims to better understand individual customers and create experiences tailored to their everyday lives.

The theme of this year's 7-Eleven Day campaign is Challenge. Through these eleven days of initiatives, Seven-Eleven Japan hopes patrons will discover something new with each visit and feel that having a 7-Eleven in their neighborhood makes everyday life just a little better.
